from the air and from the wire
curious frames now stream in haste:
some wonder why there's no rekindled fire
and others read hi's in cut and paste

i know why i have to retreat:
my account affords no house of foam;
from afar i'll listen to her tweet
and my heart is her perpetual home

as time paints dots on my face
whose wicked sickle removes my wit
my legs may move in a zig-zag pace
yet my tender heart alters no bit

in sickening silence let me endure
i ask for no love though it's the mere cure
