近來，從Local 報紙上看到附近各校高中畢業典禮新聞。一篇有關TJ 的畢業典禮文章入眼。（Tomas Jefferson high school for science & technology 現亞裔占學生總人數的53.94%。）
  校長發言中一段：I observed that success  comes from happiness, and that the only wrong way to achieve it is by harming others. 
    還有另一段，UVA 校長Teresa Sullivan addressed to the all : Compare the students' beginning journey to that of Lewis and Clark. (美國西域開創先鋒)In each case, she said, " preparation has been key. "
    She urged students to seek out opportunities in the coming years and take part in " lateral learning, " exploring many disciples, and further advised students to " get to know people different from you, "  She recalled Ralph Waldo Emerson 's ( 美國最著名的詩人及教育家之一）observation that " the force of character is cumulative.＂

        這些話語我個人認為值得華人家長們思考。
