美國媒體報道，拜登指示情報機構向他報告，最早在中國出現的新型冠狀病毒是否源自於動物，或是因為實驗室意外流出。

拜登在白宮發布的聲明中指出，情報機構“應再加倍努力收集及分析資訊，這些資訊可能讓我們更接近最終結論，並且應在90天內對我報告”。

President Biden ordered a U.S. intelligence inquiry into the origins of Covid-19, following renewed scrutiny of the possibility that the outbreak of the virus might have started with a laboratory leak in China.

The White House has come under pressure to carry out its own investigation after China told the World Health Organization that it considered Beijing’s part of the investigation complete, calling for efforts to trace the virus’s origins to shift into other countries.

Mr. Biden, who wants a report within 90 days, said that U.S. intelligence has ed on two scenarios—whether the coronavirus came from human contact with an infected animal or from a laboratory accident. He said that there is a divergence among officials in the American intelligence community, or IC, on how the virus might have emerged.

“While two elements in the IC lean toward the former scenario and one leans more toward the latter—each with low or moderate confidence—the majority of elements do not believe there is sufficient information to assess one to be more likely than the other,”

Mr. Biden said in a statement Wednesday. He refrained from outlining the positions of specific intelligence agencies.

拜登此舉 是個好事，好在：

1，不是拜登吃飽了撐的，沒事找事，而是迫於美國反對黨派的壓力，

2，拜登不選邊兒站隊，讓情報人士出來說好了，

3，結局，① 最大的可能是：來源原因源頭不明，中間宿主動物不知，；② 不了了之。

4，病毒溯源是個科學醫學問題，需要醫學專家科學家全球協同合作才有可能有個眉目；

5，這個過程不是90天，900天，靠特務能弄清搞確切的；也許幾年，幾十年，甚至永遠無解，弄不清。近百年的流行病歷史就是例證。

6，如果特務情報（包括內線）能提供點兒什麼，只能是將病毒流行病 強安在政治層面。

7，即使情報特務得出個什麼結論，極大的可能是根本不靠譜的，經不起醫學科學的檢驗，經不起時間和歷史的檢驗。

8，病毒溯源，全球同步，重點中美歐洲等最高發病最多死亡的國家和地區，把目標僅僅和首先對着武漢對着中國，還未起步就錯了，註定失敗，自取其辱。

9，拜登讓美國情報機構來溯源澄清病毒來源是一招花拳：我讓你們查了，查不出來，甭說我沒讓你們查。真正查清病毒起源，需要醫學科學家，不是特務。

10，美國參院今天通過要求拜登政府公布新冠病毒流行以來的“情報”（真真假假，虛虛實實的都有），真靠譜的基本根本不會有，道聽途說，胡說八道的東西只是笑料而已。

the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, admitted earlier this month that he is no longer convinced that the Covid-19 pandemic originated naturally.

"I am not convinced about that, I think we should continue to investigate what went on in China until we continue to find out to the best of our ability what happened," Fauci told PolitiFact's managing editor Katie Sanders.

"Certainly, the people who investigated it say it likely was the emergence from an animal reservoir that then infected individuals, but it could have been something else, and we need to find that out. So, you know, that's the reason why I said I'm perfectly in favor of any investigation that looks into the origin of the virus," he continued.

可以說 考林斯 和 佛契 都是老道的醫生，公衛 傳染流行病研究的專家，一年前 他倆的表態都是實在的，今年的“反水”，實際只是 政治表態。

是迫於政治壓力。可能普通人感覺不到，川普煽動起來的仇華反華情緒和思潮，並未隨着他的下台而熄滅，在普通百姓里，在參眾兩院裡，都有一顧不小的黑浪涌動。

考林斯 講的還略有保守，佛契 則 一反醫生常態，在沒有任何實在的科學證據面前，說不負責任的混話，迎合反華浪潮。

這固然是迎合政治傾向，從另一方面，他倆一是儘量撇清與中國的關係，二是，“我不阻攔你們去查，最後結果說話。”其實他倆心裡都明白：說新冠病毒來自中國實驗室是子虛烏有，天方夜譚。如果他倆有一丁點兒真材實料確鑿證據，早就直接抖摟出來了，還打甚麼 馬糊眼！

作為同道，與佛契還有一面之交，真為他倆不說醫學科學真話而政治隨風倒，深感可惜，可悲，可嘆！
