originally British farmers living 150 miles from London. They were also called the Scrooby Seperatists since they disliked the Church of England and refused to attend Anglican service. They moved to Netherlands (Holland) in 1608-1609 and some of them sailed to America in Mayflower in 1620. I hope I have answered your question.
