In 1974 when Culture Revolution was still going on, I heard adults talked about:
1. Many People's Liberation Army troops helped 大寨 to do lots of labor for free. 2. 毛主席 had a " secretary " or Mistress Zhang Yu-feng. 3. Li Biao had no real power at all after 1968. All real power were in the hands of Mao and Zhou. Lin Biao can not even direct a squad of soldiers - That is why he can only rely on his son. |
