Rein in the galloping horse who cares,
That I'm drunk? At me the sun stares,
Round and red, for help to save from falling.
With the old plane dyed as if it were morning.

信馬由韁登上高坡豪情誰人能比？
似醉非醉任由太陽對我深情注視！
紅紅圓盤斜掛在上霞色盡染天地，
如此美麗令人心怡何必究竟是晚霞還是晨曦？

曹雪葵回譯：

What a gallantry to give the horse a free rein?
A drunck man is never afraid of the down-setting sun .
Let his red face mirror me with grief eyes,
I know, the moon divorced him last night.

胸懷奇想能否駕着這馬兒馳向天邊？
以酒壯膽俺要和太陽比賽誰能跑得更遠！
看他紅紅的臉膛上配着怒睜的圓眼，
俺斷定昨晚月亮美人和他吵架翻臉！
