Cover mode has a hard context window. When your guide audio is longer than what the model can fully process, Suno:
Reads the first part of the audio fully

Compresses timing to fit what it thinks is the “important” part
This happens even with Premier because Premier increases quality, not context length.
This is why you’re seeing:
Missing lines
Missing syllables
Early cut‑offs
Shorter total duration
