Not all biz in Lord's kingdom is a success. Is the root of failure in the mina? the king? or the servant?

The last servant----He had feared the worst. He had feared losing the mina. So he did nothing with it. He disobeyed the king's instruction to "put his mney to work".

The king orders the mina to be taken from the servant. This servant is no different than the subjects who rebel against the king's reign.

What a sober lesson for us about doing the Lord's work in these last days! Our King is serious about his biz. With zeal he pursued his saving work. In boundless love and might he rescured us from fear and uncertainty. He established us securely as servants in his kingdom. He commissioned us to take the good news to all people. He invested great power in the "mina". He poured out the Holy Spirit to insure its success. The only failure we need fear is to do nothing with the gospel.

We dont need to fear the King. He has embraced us in love. We dont need to protect God's Word. He has sent us to unleash its power by proclaiming it. We dont need to agonize over the outcome. That is his business. He will bring about success.
