为什么两处的记载不尽相同呢？　

〔王上4：26〕“所罗门有套车的马四万，还有马兵一万二千。”
〔代下9：25〕“所罗门有套车的马四千棚，有马兵一万二千。”

有两个可能的解释：
１）NIV版的英文，　都是说有４千stalls.　在1Kings 4:26中有注解说，某些古卷里是４万。在KJV的圣经里，采用的是四万马。可能是历代以来翻译抄写之误。

NIV版的英文
1Kings 4:26 Solomon had four thousand stalls for chariot horses, and twelve thousand horses.

2 Chronicles 9 : 25 Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horses, which he kept in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem.

KJV的圣经：
1Kings 4:26　And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

2 Chronicles 9 :25 25And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.

２）如果1Kings 4:26　译做４万stalls，后面的词与代下不同.　在王上记载的是拉车用的马有４万棚。　代下记载的是（马和马车）有４千棚，是在安 置 在 屯 车 的 城 邑 和 耶 路 撒 冷。所以是指不同的东西。　另外，也可能在王上记载的是另外地方的马棚。
