Within the flourishing autumn reed in the lush

The sparkling dewdrops were covered with frost

The lady I longed for resided near in the rush

No matter how I tried to look for but got lost

In order to see her in person I rowed upstream

The way was arduous and hard to find in water

By turning around to search her again downstream

It seems I saw her right there in the river center

蒹葭蒼蒼，白露為霜。所謂伊人，在水一方。

溯洄從之，道阻且長;  溯游從之，宛在水中央。
