The fatal mistakes were made by the captain of the ship. Russian coast guard's mistakes are:
(1) They should not hold the ship too long on their territory (territorial water) without giving a reason.
(2) Their actions are too violent. It is not necessary to continuously fire on a weaponless commercial ship for several hours. This barbaric violence only damage the image of their country and their people.
(3) If the Russian coast guards had known that the ship was from China, they should at lease show some respect to it with less shootings.
(4) The whole case indicated that Russian are neither a people of peace nor would they appreciate and gratitude!
