When He emptied himself of the form of God and took the form of a servant, the weakness of the assumed humanity did not weaken the divine nature, but that divine power was imparted to humanity without the virtue of divinity being lost in the human form. For when God was born to be man the purpose was not that the Godhead should be lost, but that, the Godhead remaining, man should be born to be god.
当祂从神的形像倒空了自己而取了奴仆的形像，被取的人性的软弱并没有消弱祂的神性，反而神圣的大能并不因为人性而有任何的消减，被注入到人性里。当神被生成为人的时候，其目的不是失去神格，反而使神格得以保留，人能够被生而成为神。
