關於聖經里的“右手”（right hand），我找到的資料是這麼說的。

希臘文和中文一樣，DEXIOS（右）就是“右邊”，而不是“右手”“右手邊”。CHEIR (kheir, Strongs #5495) 是“手”。新約DEXIOS（右）出現52次，全部沒有和“手”聯用，因此只是“右邊”“右側”的意思。

希伯來文和希臘文和中文一樣，yamin（右）就是“右邊”，而不是“右手”或“右手邊”。“手”或“手臂”是yad。

這不等於聖經沒有使用“右手”（right hand）這個組合，舊約出現了幾百次“右+手”。

簡單說，如果經文是描述動作，就是“右+手”，有“右”有“手”；否則如果只是表示方位，一般“右手”都是“右”“右邊”。

但我認為，根據聖經經文，“右”應該與公義、尊貴、好、正面相應，而“左”有相反的負面意思。我不知道是實際就是這樣，還是作為象徵，個人傾向於字面理解。比如：

Ex 15:6 [hgb] 耶和華阿、你的右手施展能力、顯出榮耀．耶和華阿、你的右手摔碎仇敵。
[kjv] Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

Psalm 16:8 [hgb] 我將耶和華常擺在我面前．因他在我右邊、我便不至搖動。
[kjv] I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Psalm 77:10 [hgb] 我便說、這是我的懦弱．但我要追念至高者顯出右手之年代。
[kjv] And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

Eccl 10:2 [hgb] 智慧人的心居右．愚昧人的心居左。
[kjv] A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left.

Isa 48:13 [hgb] 我手立了地的根基、我右手鋪張諸天、我一招呼便都立住。
[kjv] Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.
