讀經提問:到底有沒有人見過神? (網友討論稿)

從來沒有人看見神，只有在父懷裡的獨生子將他表明出來。(約翰福音 1:18)
這不是說有人看見過父；惟獨從神來的，他看見過父。(約翰福音 6:46)
從來沒有人見過神，我們若彼此相愛，神就住在我們裡面，愛他的心在我們裡面得以完全了。(約翰一書 4:12)
耶和華在幔利橡樹那裡向亞伯拉罕顯現出來。那時正熱，亞伯拉罕坐在帳棚門口，舉目觀看，見有三個人在對面站着。他一見，就從帳棚門口跑去迎接他們，俯伏在地，說：「我主，我若在你眼前蒙恩，求你不要離開僕人往前去。容我拿點水來，你們洗洗腳，在樹下歇息歇息。我再拿一點餅來，你們可以加添心力，然後往前去。你們既到僕人這裡來，理當如此。」(創世紀 18:1-5)
耶和華忽然對摩西、亞倫、米利暗說：「你們三個人都出來，到會幕這裡。」他們三個人就出來了。耶和華在雲柱中降臨，站在會幕門口，召亞倫和米利暗，二人就出來了。(民數記 12:4-5)

民12:8 我要與他面對面說話，乃是明說、不用謎語，並且他必見我的形像。你們毀謗我的僕人摩西，為何不懼怕呢？
Soccerfun: 舊約里的人看見的神我猜就是神的獨生子肉身顯現(道成肉身？)，根據正是老約翰的那句：“從來沒有人看見神。只有在父懷裡的獨生子將他表明出來。”
新約揭開舊約的許多謎底。
約翰告訴人們舊約里描述的耶和華就是天父的獨生子肉身顯現，是神的像。
保羅也是這樣認為。歌羅西1:15 愛子是那不能看見之神的像，是首生的，在一切被
造的以先。我想約翰和保羅應該很熟悉舊約，在知道了你貼的那些經文後還這麼說
說明了什麼？說明他們要澄清一個觀念。
點評: 有無人見過神？神不是向亞伯拉罕顯現嗎？沒有人見過神，因為神是個靈。人的污穢在神面前站立不住，見到神畢竟死。當年摩西只見到了神的背影，還是在神覆庇的情況下。當然當神以人型顯現時，人可以見到顯現的神，如亞伯拉罕見過，雅各見過，等等。當然耶穌基督更是被很多人見過。

Xinmin: OT Epiphany and NT Incarnation
Invariably, any recorded human's close encounter with God NEVER means that that person has seen, with his naked eyes under the illumination of the visible light (400-800 nm), the ultimate extradimensional and supernatural reality of God. All they saw is an image visible to our eyes, sound audible to our ears, and may or may not be explanable by our mind and logic (remember Moses saw the burning but never burnt up bush on Mount Sinai). Some call that kind of revelation by God epiphany. There are many examples in OT bible. Epiphany is a scale-down version of God's infinite vastness to accommodate our finiteness and limitation of space time.
When the OT-prophesied Messiah was born into our world, the Word (who, not it, was constantly with God and was being the very God from eternity past) became flesh, thus the miraculous incarnation. The Son of God became Son of Man, dwelling among human and full of truth and grace. Jesus is our Christ. What the early disciples and apostles saw was the humanized version of God.
No one has ever seen the truest triune God in the fullest display at the High Throne in the extradimensional heavenly home. Even what John saw with awe and recorded in Revelation was still what he could describe in human language.
羊倌兒: 您又如何理解出埃及記 34:34-35:
但摩西進到耶和華面前與他說話就揭去帕子，及至出來的時候便將耶和華所吩咐的告訴以色列人。以色列人看見摩西的麵皮發光。摩西又用帕子蒙上臉，等到他進去與耶和華說話就揭去帕子。

Did Moses see God in God's infinite vastness and fullest totality at the extradimensional heavenly home or in his space time? Clearly in his space time. Then it is theophany. As simple as that!
羊倌兒: 還有出埃及記 33:11: 耶和華與摩西面對面說話，好象人與朋友說話一般。

When Moses spoke to God face to face, that already proves to me abundantly clear that God was reveling himself in a theophany, since it is impossible for anyone to really face with God as if God cannot see our back or heart.
Again it is theophany. Moses did not at all grasp the infinite vastness and God's transcending glory.

出埃及記 34:29: 摩西手裡拿着兩塊法版下西乃山的時候，不知道自己的麵皮因耶和華和他說話就發了光。
若說他見的不是上帝本身，為何會有這樣的變化?

Of course Moses saw God, just not the fullest display of the infinitely vast and transcendental God. Moses saw God in a theophany in his own space time. He never was possible to see the totality of God.
A glimpse of God's glory even in our limited space time will change anyone for good.
Preemptive strike :-)) Let me know when you find a case that anyone has SEEN the TOTALITY of an infinitely vast and transcendental GOD at the fullest display in the extradimensional heaven. As long as it is SEEN with man's eyes, we can say confidently that he has seen theophany only. It takes God to fully see God! All man has seen is at most theophany.
