We, especially man, are often taught to be rationally minded and withhold our emotions. We can be a victim of such teaching.

Our mind can be rational or lose sanity. When it is rational, we behave somber or even stoic. When it goes insane, we become hysterical or depressed.

The best is when the mind and heart are in sync and order. A rational mind will not contain the great joy of knowing God's providence and love. Such mind must direct the heart to sing thanksgiving and praises to God, and command the feet to walk on the path of righteousness. It may occasionally demand our heart to overjoy and our body to tremble and roll on the floor or bed, wherever the situation permits.

So build up the expressway between our mind and heart and travel on the fast lane often.
