這兩個星期看了好幾本關於聖經的書，很有興趣搞明白，很有興趣把我的心和基督靠近。

This is commendable. I encourage you to continue searching for a few more months, if not years. What the bible teaches is not inconsequential to all of us. It deserves a bit more time than two weeks you have put in.

可是我很難說服我自己，因為我根本不信世界才存在了這末多短一段時間，即使是上帝創造了世界應該也已經有億億年了，並且越讀聖經越覺得神不是萬能的，可是他有號稱自己是萬能的，我不能說服我自己相信世界上真的有萬能的人，所以才來這裡， 謝謝大家的時間。

Bible can be difficult to understand for people with preconceived prejudices and mistaken understandings. One one hand, you find it incredible for a creator God to have begot the cosmos in a short time, on the other, you find God is not omnipotent. Putting this paradox together, you find an almighty and omnipotent God not so almighty and omnipotent. Hmm, what or who are you trying to find? A god not so almighty and omnipotent? If so, you already found him according to your confession. If not, you found him too. Did you get your confusion straightened out?

討論的結果是，大家都在引經據典，就是一句話：聖經是不容置疑的。 你老是用聖經里的話來證明聖經里的事這是很荒唐的，是說服不了人的。要用事實來說明才更好些。

This is akin to protesting in a court of law that the prosecutor cannot use any positive evidence that is self-consistent while not logically circulatory. Perhaps you do not understand that the bible is divided into Old Testament (OT) and New Testament (NT). What Christians are doing is use OT (Jewish bible) to prove NT, and also use extrabibiblical history and science to bear out the biblical account. Hope you dig deeper.

You missed the foundational claim of Christianity: Jesus Christ who died and rose again, fulfilling OT prophecy. Some good moral teachings may be found in other religions, but it is the person of Jesus Christ that sets Christianity apart from all other creeds and claimants. Study Jesus Christ in the next few months and years, you will know who he is, if you really care to.

基督教有着這太強烈的排他性，用一個不能證明是正確的，並且很容易被證明是錯誤的宇宙起源來證明上帝的偉大，是沒有說服力的。 上次在電視上一個牧師講起來大峽谷根本不是自然形成的，也是上帝造出來的，是在一天形成的，老是這樣傳教沒有意思， 只會引人發笑。

Exclusivity is a hallmark of truth. Truth must be exclusive to all falsehoods. One needs to search for the exclusive truth, not inclusive universalism. To disagree to some else's interpretation of geological formation does not help one to discredit the bible. Hope you know the difference between bible and bible interpretation.

我覺得世界上還是需要我這樣雖然能努力工作積極向善，但是又不信神的罪人，同時世界上也需要罪犯， 通姦犯， 需要戰爭，需要災難，否則末日審判就永遠也不會來臨， 那末世界上的罪惡將會永遠存在下去。所以我的感覺就是為了永生我們要信基督， 為了達到世界大同我們需要鼓勵別人犯罪，才能早日求得末日審判的到來，然後他們下地獄， 我們上天堂。

To retreat into this kind of despair is not very helpful, just as it is unreasonable to claim that the roosters NEEDS to crow every morning to usher in the new mornings.

聖經里的故事告訴我們， 其實世界末日的跡象在世界有人之後就出現了，戰爭疾病亂倫地震洪水等等等等，並且這些年來從來都沒有斷過， 那末你還要告訴我沒有人知道那一天啥時候來到， 多麼無力！！

To muddle the history-long sad saga of human predicament with the eschatological signs is not helpful for your understanding. Read Matthews 24 and see what Jesus has to say.

還有誠之先生對我的關於"什一稅“的問題定義為技術問題， 現在我沒有必要討論， 我要討論的不是我交的起交不起這個錢， 我要討論的是上帝是不是在做生意，這不是技術問題， 這是決定讓別人信與不信的問題。教會很有錢，大家都知道，這些年有於性醜聞好像有幾億幾億的賠款以求得廳外和解。教會的上層應該離上帝更近，應該更知道這樣是違背上帝的旨意的， 但是他們還在做，我只能理解為他們根本就不信上帝，他們根本就沒有畏懼。如果他們都不信上帝， 我怎麼說服自己哪？

About apostasy, you may find Jesus's warnings in Matthew 7 both endearing and alarming. So do not be deceived and self-deceiving. Jesus taught many lessons alluding to money. Jesus has far less interest in your wallet than your soul, mind, spirit and body, your whole being.
