多年以前，我刚受浸不久后的一个星期五的晚上，我去教会查经。那一天我到的有些晚，等我吃完饭时餐厅里已只剩我一个，大家都去唱诗了。我见厨房没人，有一堆还没洗的盆盆罐罐，就系上围裙拧开了水龙头。这时隐隐约约飘来一阵歌声，像有一只手在拨动我的心弦，使我泪水涌溢，顺着面颊毫无顾忌地滑落。。。顾不得满脸涕泗横流，我迅速地冲进聚会的地方，一把揪住最靠门边的那个人的诗歌本，记下了这首诗歌的名字——《照我本相》。。。 　　以后每一次在葛理翰布道会最后呼召时听到这首歌，我依然会热泪盈眶，想起那个星期五的傍晚，对于我有一位照着我的本相接纳我、又应许必改变我的救主耶稣基督，心里满怀感恩。。。 “凡父所赐给我的人，必到我这里来；到我这里来的，我总不丢弃他。（约翰福音 6:37）” Jack Holcomb "Just As I Am"
