关于圣经里的“右手”（right hand），我找到的资料是这么说的。

希腊文和中文一样，DEXIOS（右）就是“右边”，而不是“右手”“右手边”。CHEIR (kheir, Strongs #5495) 是“手”。新约DEXIOS（右）出现52次，全部没有和“手”联用，因此只是“右边”“右侧”的意思。

希伯来文和希腊文和中文一样，yamin（右）就是“右边”，而不是“右手”或“右手边”。“手”或“手臂”是yad。

这不等于圣经没有使用“右手”（right hand）这个组合，旧约出现了几百次“右+手”。

简单说，如果经文是描述动作，就是“右+手”，有“右”有“手”；否则如果只是表示方位，一般“右手”都是“右”“右边”。

但我认为，根据圣经经文，“右”应该与公义、尊贵、好、正面相应，而“左”有相反的负面意思。我不知道是实际就是这样，还是作为象征，个人倾向于字面理解。比如：

Ex 15:6 [hgb] 耶和华阿、你的右手施展能力、显出荣耀．耶和华阿、你的右手摔碎仇敌。
[kjv] Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

Psalm 16:8 [hgb] 我将耶和华常摆在我面前．因他在我右边、我便不至摇动。
[kjv] I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Psalm 77:10 [hgb] 我便说、这是我的懦弱．但我要追念至高者显出右手之年代。
[kjv] And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

Eccl 10:2 [hgb] 智慧人的心居右．愚昧人的心居左。
[kjv] A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left.

Isa 48:13 [hgb] 我手立了地的根基、我右手铺张诸天、我一招呼便都立住。
