希伯來書 - 第 12 章 第 8 節 管教原是眾子所共受的，你們若不受管教，就是私子，不是兒子了。 If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.    

15. 又要謹慎，恐怕有人失了神的恩。恐怕有毒根生出來擾亂你們，因此叫眾人沾染污穢。 15. See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. 

16. 恐怕有淫亂的，有貪戀世俗如以掃的。他因一點食物把自己長子的名分賣了。 16. See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. 

17. 後來想要承受父所祝的福，竟被棄絕，雖然號哭切求，卻得不着門路，使他父親的心意迴轉，這是你們知道的。 17. Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. He could bring about no change of mind, though he sought the blessing with tears

可見，不需要神把你"神的兒子"的名分取消，你這個罪人就把兒子的名分給賣了! 沒有名分的兒子，就是私子!
