引言：基督教信仰的爱，就是公义，公义也是爱，都是为了圣洁无罪。

十诫定义，按宗教、教派、教会排列

新教
第一條　 不可拜耶和華以外的神；
第二條　 不可製造偶像與拜偶像；
第三條　 不可妄稱耶和華的名字；
第四條　 當紀念安息日守為聖日；
第五條　 應尊敬父母；
第六條　 不可殺人；
第七條　 不可姦淫；
第八條　 不可偷盜；
第九條　 不可作假見證；
第十條　 不可貪心。

新约对十诫前四条的总结就是爱神，对后六条的总结就是爱邻（人）。

本来彰显公义的十诫律法，在耶稣看来，就是爱！爱神和爱人都必须是彰显公义的爱，而不是不谈公义，无公无义的泛爱、普爱，以及糊涂的爱。

人对神和对人的爱，就是公义的代名词，也是与公义的一体两面。

基督对人的爱，也完全是公义的：替死偿还人的罪债，以满足神律法公义的要求，即“罪的工价是死”这一伊甸园的第一律法。

离开（圣洁）公义，不是基督教的爱。

马太福音 - 第 22 章
35内中有一个人是律法师，要试探耶稣，就问他说，
Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36夫子，律法上的诫命，那一条是最大的呢？
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37耶稣对他说，你要尽心，尽性，尽意，爱主你的神。
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38这是诫命中的第一，且是最大的。
This is the first and great commandment.
39其次也相仿，就是要爱人如己。
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40这两条诫命，是律法和先知一切道理的总纲。
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

另外十诫的后六条，耶稣在福音书里也有类似的概括。注意耶稣把不可贪心 （即贪恋别人的妻子和财物）说成“爱邻如己”或“不可亏负人”。

马太福音 - 第 19 章
17耶稣对他说，你为什么以善事问我呢？只有一位是善的，（有古卷作你为什么称我是良善的，除了神以外，没有一个良善的）你若要进入永生，就当遵守诫命。
"Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments."
18他说，什么诫命。耶稣说，就是不可杀人，不可奸淫，不可偷盗，不可作假见证，
"Which ones?" the man inquired.
19当孝敬父母。又当爱人如己。
Jesus replied, "'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,' and 'love your neighbor as yourself.'"

马可福音 - 第 10 章
18耶稣对他说，你为什么称我是良善的。除了神一位之外，再没有良善的。
"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone.
19诫命你是晓得的，不可杀人，不可奸淫，不可偷盗，不可作假见证，不可亏负人，当孝敬父母。
You know the commandments: 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, do not defraud, honor your father and mother.'"
20他对耶稣说，夫子，这一切我从小都遵守了。
"Teacher," he declared, "all these I have kept since I was a boy."

路加福音 - 第 18 章
18有一个官问耶稣说，良善的夫子，我该作什么事，才可以承受永生。
A certain ruler asked him, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
19耶稣对他说，你为什么称我是良善的，除了神一位之外，再没有良善的。
"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone.
20诫命你是晓得的，不可奸淫，不可杀人，不可偷盗，不可作假见证，当孝敬父母。

21那人说，这一切我从小都遵守了。
