Faith is not the enforcer of our ignorance of the past. It is like a trust that a son rightfully places on his loving father.
Reason is not the viewpoint into the knowledge of the future. Reason is deeply rooted in faith, at least in and of reason per se. Reason carries us for a distance under the constant guidance of faith. Reason finally gives us away to faith when we take the final leap over the chasm separating this life from the next.
Faith will accept ALL evidence despite the apparent and paradoxical contradiction, while reason is having a hard time digesting it and grimacing about it.
A reason without faith has never been known to man. A faith without reason borders on superstitution. Faith walks with reason hand in hand, until such a time of exclusivity, they part their way. Still, reason parts with its own brand of faith. Faith always wins out, even in seeming defeat.
