First of all, he probably relishes the limelight from Cameron and PBS. At least that will spike people's interest in his claim to deity and lordship.

Second, he is interested in how Christians will respond to the fraudulent claim. They should seize the chance to preach the risen Lord.

Third, he is mocking the faulty logic of unbelievers who wish the fraud to be true so that they will delight in secrecy that the may not need to give an account to the judging Lord who is to come.

Someone says the fact that a Jew at Jesus' time was not married at age 30 is unusual. That is precisely the point! Jesus was no ordinary Jew!!!
