I think the same goes for all past servants of God.
If they did right, we follow their example; if they did wrong, we learned from their example. Judgment is up to God, as are rewards. Judge them we can, and risk the wrath of God himself.
Learn from Luther and don't condemn, even if he truly was anti-semitic; Learn from Calvin and don't condemn, even if he truly murdered; Learn from Nee and don't condemn, even if he did commit adultery.
If God forgave them, who are we to condemn them? If God didn't forgive them, who are we to condemn them?
