C-Town
1. By far the best Chinese restaurant there is Ping's (Sheng Hui Cheng). They also have another one in Elmhurst. It is typical Cantonese style, and the dishes are almost flawless. It is expensive though.
2. Golden Unicorn is okay as a weekend Dim-sum place.
Mid-Town
1. 大四川 is very bad to my standard. There is no presentation and the decor is no better than any restaurant in China 20 years ago. The dishes is also not impressive.
2. 故鄉味 is pretty good and provides plenty of choices regardless your personal taste.
3. 五梁液 is just about average. The decor and service are better than most of the Chinese restaurant in C-town. However, somehow I just don't like their food. But no way it is 中城裡最貴的. You will have to pay double the price for the same food in Shun Lee.
4. By far the best Chinese restaurant in Mid-town is Shanghai Tea Garden - Our Place located at 55th street, between 3rd and Lex. They also have another one around 80th.
5. Shun Lee: right next to Shanghai Tea Garden. Definitely one of the most expensive. A lunch will probably cost you more than 20 just for dim-sum. They have another one on the west side.
6. Chin Chin: 47th between 1st and 2nd. The best Peking Duck place in NYC, but will cost you more than $70 for 2.
Indian food
There are many Indian restaurant on 58th between 1st and 3rd. Some of them are very good and serve excellent food. Recommend: Ada
Agree:最後像說的是,鹿鳴春,名氣大,菜和服務非常的不好,不建議去
