suppose we have 10 MM shares of one stock. yesterday it was traded 1 dollar.
then market cap is 10MM(million), right. Now, if the last trade was 10 dollar for today. The market cap would be 100MM now right? So tomorrow it goes to 2 dollars. Did we lost 80MM dollars? of course not. that is why it is called a bubble. It is just ponzi scheme. |
