本次大選，經常看到“I approve this message”，覺得挺有意思的，原來這是美國政治習用語。 據說在美國做一個好基督徒有兩點特徵:每天看Fox News，投票支持共和黨。我前幾天讀某著名基督教刊物的一個採訪，有一個人說她根本不能想象作為一個基督徒不支持共和黨。這種思維方式真是讓人好笑，但是卻很普遍。 但這一切都是教會教出來的，牧師們功不可沒。這次大選中，Iowa州的牧師Rev. Arnold Conrad很是出了名。他當眾為John McCain做了一個這麼出了名的禱告： “I would also pray Lord that your reputation is involved in all that happens between now and November, because there are millions of people around this world praying to their God -- whether it's Hindu, Buddha, Allah -- that his [McCain’s] opponent wins for a variety of reasons. And Lord I pray that you would guard your own reputation, because they’re going to think that their god is bigger than you, if that happens. So I pray that you would step forward and honor your own name in all that happens between now and Election Day. Oh Lord, we just commit this time to you, move among us, make your presence very well felt as we are gathered here today in Jesus's name I pray.” 現在選舉結果出來了，對手大贏，John McCain大輸! 既然萬事都是出於神，我想這件事上，神給了美國教會一個very strong的message:不要把他和共和黨扯在一起。 現在教會多少人根本不認識神，因為牧者自己就不認識神，他們把人的道理教導神。呼召大家為立法禁止同性戀婚姻禱告，為立法禁止墮胎禱告，卻不為自己的教會在黑暗的世界中不能做鹽和光禁食禱告。 教會裡到處是離婚的，貪婪錢財的，說謊的。。。什麼都有，據說某神學院的老師還參與換妻。 我希望任何讀本文的人能夠省察自己的信仰，用心靈和誠實自己評價自己到底對自己的靈魂有多誠實，別老在那裡稀里糊塗地混日子了。 神審判這個世界的日子更近了，而審判是從神的家開始。
