the story goes back to Socrates. When S started the whole thing called philosophy later, he just started to raise questions as the legend says. At that time, there is no "metaphysics and empiricism" yet. This difference was developed later. My curiosity is why people in Athens went THAT way! Very weird not like us Chinese at all!
