"live free, or die!"
Rather, the famous Chinese saying, or philosophy is "Live badly is far better then die gloriously." It appears to me that there are some genetic reasons for this. Chinese goal of life is to live, either is a life under someone's feet, or on ones own kneel. To me, having ones own freedom, idea, philosophy, or dignity is not important to Chinese. The essence is to live... like that of other animals... This may explain all we see. |
