中国和美国在学位和职称上都没有可比性

I see that even a small issue like MD vs. MB already elicits many discussions. However, Chinese professional title system has more problem than that, especially after MB, MD and PhD.

After MD or PhD in China, the system is even more confusing. Usually one will get a title called 讲师 but some places will offer 副教授 title directly. These dates, there are too many D's so some organizations will ask a postdoc experience before they could get 副教授. Is this 副教授 equvalent to US's Associate Professor? Of course not. In my mind, this is even more confusing than MB vs. MD. There are also a mess in 教授 title too. As we already know that many postdoc fellows/Research Associate/Instructor/et al....in US could get 教授title in China easily, even in China's top organizations like BeiDa or Chinese Academy of Sciences. Should we see postdoc in US equvalent to 教授 in China?

I don't think it is worth to discuss MD vs. MB further. These two countries have totally different systems. Dependent on where you live, you will be xxxxuated by local system. You can claim whatever you want as long as you don't end up in the jail. There are a matured system in place in US, although it is not necessarily fair one, to xxxxuate foreign degrees and professional titles. In China, there is a system in place but with a lot of holes. That is how FZZ get his job.
