If racial equality in a society is dependent on concealing of one's true racial identity, that the mere revelation of such identity would cause discrimination, then I would seriously doubt if there is true equality in this society. If there is, it ain't worth more than a penny.

In this country, we are encouraged to be proud of of our own heritage, not to hide it from anyone. That's the difference.
