A missionary and his wife were returning to these shores after 40 years of service in a distant land. On board the same ocean vessel was an important political leader. When the ship docked, there were man dignitaries to welcome this man back. A limousine was waiting to whisk him off to a banquet in his hornor. This missionary had to adimit this all was getting to him. "Forty years of serving Christ, and there isn't a soul here to acknowledge us." His wife leaned over and , putting her arms around him, said,"But remember, dear, we're not home yet."

我讀這個故事，想，賢德的夫人就是這樣的呀，如果反過來，這個令人泄氣的對比，是妻子開始抱怨，那麼我可以肯定丈夫精神就蹦潰啦；可是丈夫抱怨，妻子的力量是多麼鼓舞人呢。UNTIL　THEN，YES“we're not home yet”
