of Christian who puts more emphasis on the love and redemption of Christ than on some of the other traditional decree in christianity, such as the divinity of Christ, Christ being the only path to salvation, justice and judgment of God, and so on. if you talk to most self-described American Christians, you'd find that this theology is much more popular than the evangelical theology we Chinese Christians are used to. this is, in fact, part of the mainstream here in north america.

I have stated numerous times before, that I lean towards Obama in his political standing. But having read about his faith in various sources, having seen what he does and what he says, and having talked with various people who like politics, I cannot conclude from the honesty of my heart that his theology is orthodox. My conclusion is that his theology is not fundamentally different from that being held by the general American public.
