Christianity 101

Jesus was never against the temple. Jesus was “not to abolish the law, but to fulfill the law”.

When Jesus talked about destroying the temple and raising it in 3 days. He was talking about His death and resurrection.

Pharisees (intentionally) mis-understood Jesus was “against the temple”, and killed the Christ.

By Christ’s suffering, death on the cross and resurrection, He became the altar and sacrifice of the new, everlasting convent. This is the central mystery of Christianity.
