if you are telling me that interpretation of a biblical prophesy and adoption of a pagan theology are pretty much the same thing, then you are right, it's indeed the difference between 點燈與放火... after all, Bible is just one of thousands of religious scriptures.

if you think that there is a fundamental, irreconcilable difference between Bible and other scriptures, that there is a fundamental, irreconcilable difference between Christianity and other religions, then I'd suggest you not to give the whole concept of reincarnation so much credit. At best, it's a wild guess, one that doesn't jive that well with bilbical truth in the first place.
