simple are you? what happened to complicate matters?

first, I never said 'no-war means peace' or even implied "love here love there". you did.

second, I never simplified the cause for the war. you did.

third, in retrospect, it's a crappy war, with crappy reasons, crappy process, and crappy results. the crappiness is such that even the crappy people who started the crappy war admits that it's crappy, except for die-hard, deluded fans such as ugh... but of course, against such there is no reasoning. which is why I'd pretty much given up and resort to simple expression, such as "crappy".

back then, it was still a crappy war, with crappy reasons, and pratically everyone saw that except for the americans and a handful of so-called coalition of the "willing". but I can empathize with the americans, they had to go thru some serious psych counselling.

fourth, whether the world is a better place as a result of not remains to be seen. so far, it's not a better place yet. it's just a messy place made messier.
