亞歷山大的革利免

There is a true beauty which is God; and that person becomes a god because God wishes it. Heraclitus was therefore right to say: Man are gods and god man. It is the same Logos. This is a manifest mystery: God is in man, and man is a god, and the mediator fulfils the will of the Father.

神乃是真正的美麗；因為神喜悅，人能夠成為神（單數，a god）。故，希拉律陀說的是正確的：人是神（複數，gods），神人。那話（Logos）也是一樣。這是一個顯明的奧秘：神在人裡面，人就是神（單數，a god），那位中保就完成了父的旨意。
