6他叫我們能承當這新約的執事。不是憑着字句，乃是憑着精意。因為那字句是叫人死，精意是叫人活。（精意或作聖靈）。
NIV He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant--not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

但是，主的靈，就是指基督第二位格。沒有爭議！

至於3：6中的那靈，如果根據3：17，我更傾向於指基督，而不是聖靈，何況這裡說的是新約的職事！

當然，這裡泛指神的靈也是完全可以的（小寫的靈），即指代聖靈或基督。

17主就是那靈。主的靈在哪裡，哪裡就得以自由。
NIV:Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

KJV: Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty.

18我們眾人既然敞着臉，得以看見主的榮光，好像從鏡子裡返照，就變成主的形狀，榮上加榮，如同從主的靈變成的。
And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
