A more accurate way of stating the truth is Justification by Grace through Faith, or simply (but can be confusingly), justification by faith.

The confusing part happens when the statement is taken out of context, as if FAITH alone can do the magic. Far from it! It is ALL GRACE from God that enables us to place our faith correctly on the Lord Jesus Christ and thereby to be justified.

See Romans 3:24, Ephesians 2:5,8 for the emphasis of God's grace. The rest of the verses try to dissociate from justification by deeds (or observing the OT laws). It is against the teaching of justification by deeds (observing the OT laws apart from faith) that justification by faith is emphasized. Note also that James emphasizes justification by faith and faith-enabled deeds. He is not against Paul at all.

Gal 2:16 既知道人稱義、不是因行律法、乃是因信耶穌基督、連我們也信了基督耶穌、使我們因信基督稱義、不因行律法稱義．因為凡有血氣的、沒有一人因行律法稱義。
Gal 3:8 並且聖經既然預先看明、　神要叫外邦人因信稱義、就早已傳福音給亞伯拉罕、說、『萬國都必因你得福。』
Gal 3:11 沒有一個人靠着律法在　神面前稱義、這是明顯的．因為經上說、『義人必因信得生。』
Gal 3:24 這樣、律法是我們訓蒙的師傅、引我們到基督那裡、使我們因信稱義。
Gal 5:4 你們這要靠律法稱義的、是與基督隔絕、從恩典中墜落了。
Eph 2:5 當我們死在過犯中的時候、便叫我們與基督一同活過來．（你們得救是本乎恩)
