Our Abba Father in Heaven,

We dedicate our prayer at this time to visitorA and his family. Thank you for giving our brother a heart of commitment to following you, despite the resentment and resistence from his wife. Please strengthen his inner man and soften even more his outer man, so that he becomes a man of God with a steely and unshakable faith and a humble servant heart. Give him much needed loving kindness and unconditional forebearance and forgiveness. Exalt him in the sight of his wife because of his humility.

Now we direct our petition to his wife who is unhappy about his current jobless status. Lord, you know the deeper problem of every soul including her. Speak to her heart and illuminate the darkness that comes with her upbringing and idealogical contaminations of this age. Help her to count the blessings of haves, not the havenots. Help her to know that losing his job hundred miles from home is the beginning of your blessing. Make her a treasured mate for our brother visitorA. Take away her insecure feeling and guide her to cast the anchor in your ocean harbor of providence. Use the gospel preacher tonight and speak squarely at her heart. Make her one of your own precious elects.

Lord, we also pray for visitorA's son who, at such a young age, has already learned the bittersweet taste of rebellion. Heal the emotional wounds wrought deep in his young heart. Remodel his outlook about life. Make him a blessing to his generation when he grows up. Give wisdom to our brother and his wife in training up their son in righteousness and godliness.

Altogether, lift up this family of trials from the dust of ruin. Lift them up, O Lord.
