首先感謝神對祂僕人一切的保守和慈愛，人生最大的福分是有神。出埃及記4:24-26曾讓我反覆思想很久。我想補充一個領受，與諸位分享。就是摩西並不想去埃及，所以他一直拒絕上帝的差遣。他不想回去是有理由的，法老要殺他，那裡的希伯來人也要殺他。換成我們，也會和他做出一樣的選擇。所以他夜晚住下了，是不是像亞伯蘭住在哈蘭一樣，不想繼續前行。出埃及記是摩西的書，摩西是否自己因為抗命而有了大恐懼，覺得上帝要殺他。很多時候，這是不是我們共同的經驗呢？

這是我最喜愛的聖經經文之一。我與各位分享兩個話題。第一，上帝要殺摩西的根本原因是摩西拒絕作希伯來人，特別是，拒絕接受上帝與亞伯拉罕的割禮之約。換言之，他寧願繼續作埃及人。一方面，他沒有給孩子行割禮；另一方面，他向流珥一家介紹自己是埃及人。出埃及記3：18-19，“她們來到父親流珥那裡，他說，今日你們為何來得這麼快呢？她們說，有一個埃及人救我們脫離牧羊人的手，並且為我們打水飲了群羊。不過我願意相信，摩西的內心是充滿掙扎的。出埃及記3：22西坡拉生了一個兒子，摩西給他起名叫革舜，意思說，因我在外邦作了寄居的。我們都知道，上帝不久殺死了埃及人所有長子，這裡也是提前向摩西預告，繼續作埃及人或埃及王子的最終結局。信而受洗的必然得救，不信的，罪就定了。第二，神借着這場風波，更新了摩西一家。摩西、妻子和兒女都因此重生了。一個基督徒，特別是教會的領袖，特別是被差遣去埃及帶領二百萬人的領袖，若不更新家庭，是不可能承擔這個大使命的。神重用一位僕人，首先必要重建這個家庭，將他們建造在基督的根基上，死而復活。不僅給平信徒作榜樣，更是為殘酷爭戰中的牧者提供最必要的支援。

The next section (vv. 24-26) records a rather strange story. God had said that if Pharaoh would not comply he would kill his son – but now God was ready to kill Moses, the representative of Israel, God’s own son. Apparently, one would reconstruct that on the journey Moses fell seriously ill, but his wife, learning the cause of the illness, saved his life by circumcising her son and casting the foreskin at Moses’ feet (indicating that it was symbolically Moses’ foreskin). The point is that this son of Abraham had not complied with the sign of the Abrahamic covenant. No one, according to Exod 12:40-51, would take part in the Passover-exodus who had not complied. So how could the one who was going to lead God’s people not comply? The bold anthropomorphisms and the location at the border invite comparisons with , the Angel wrestling with Jacob. “to his feet”. The referent (Moses) has been specified in the translation for clarity. The LXX has “and she fell at his feet” and then “the blood of the circumcision of my son stood.” But it is clear that she caused the foreskin to touch Moses’ feet, as if the one were a substitution for the other, taking the place of the other (see U. Cassuto, Exodus, 60). 

"A bridegroom of blood". Cassuto explains that she was saying, “I have delivered you from death, and your return to life makes you my bridegroom a second time, this time my blood bridegroom, a bridegroom acquired through blood” (Exodus, 60-61). 

"referring to the circumcision". The Hebrew simply has לַמּוּלֹת (lammulot, “to the circumcision[s]”). The phrase explains that the saying was in reference to the act of circumcision. Some scholars speculate that there was a ritual prior to marriage from which this event and its meaning derived. But it appears rather that if there was some ancient ritual, it would have had to come from this event. The difficulty is that the son is circumcised, not Moses, making the comparative mythological view untenable. Moses had apparently not circumcised Eliezer. Since Moses was taking his family with him, God had to make sure the sign of the covenant was kept. It may be that here Moses sent them all back to Jethro (18:2) because of the difficulties that lay ahead.

因為他被在猶太人家裡養到三個月，他父母都是虔誠猶太人，應當是順從生下來第八日、都要受割禮的古訓。

Gen 17:12 你們世世代代的男子、無論是家裡生的、是在你後裔之外用銀子從外人買的、生下來第八日、都要受割禮。  

Gen 17:13 你家裡生的、和你用銀子買的、都必須受割禮．這樣、我的約就立在你們肉體上、作永遠的約。  

Gen 17:14 但不受割禮的男子、必從民中剪除、因他背了我的約。

西坡拉怎麼知道要割禮的?　經上沒說，她可以從自己的丈夫那裡知道這個約，也可以從天使那裡知道。

神為什麼要殺他？我兒子讀創的時候，我給兒子解釋，那是因為他對神要他做的使命的抵擋，一而再再而三，他抵擋神的原因主要是懼怕被人抵擋（他有過靠自己行義而被人抵擋的悲慘經歷），同時他不信神能夠“在人不行，在神凡事都能”地做他自己想做而無法做到的事情--拯救骨肉同胞。在行神的旨意的時候，他和約拿都是被動地，雖然約拿其實是不想看到抵擋神的人便的不抵擋神了。

神要他知道抵擋神的嚴重後果，死。他老婆代替他從基本的順從神的割禮開始，讓他看到神的赦免，以後一步步，他也亦步亦趨順從神，雖然臨了他那一次不順從讓他無緣進入他肉體的安息--地理上的應許里。

所以神要殺他，西坡拉用兒子的陽皮丟在摩西的腳前的原意是皮丟在摩西的JJ上

用兒子的血染紅了摩西的JJ，所以她說“真是我的血郎”那個時候的新郎要受割禮，也就是血郎。所以摩西的兒子的割禮

代替了摩西的割禮

西坡拉當時想的就是如何救摩西脫離被殺的境地，情急知罪。

西坡拉割的是摩西的兒子，顯出她過去曾極力反對過摩西要給兒子行割禮，這回因此知道神為什麼因此降怒與摩西了。
