First and foremost, why should anyone (like the questioner) believe at all there are MANY (presumably supernatural) forces in this universe. Aside from the four natural forces that scientists are trying to find a unification theory for, what evidence point to the possibility that there might be one or more supernatural forces?

Since the four natural forces are created ex nihilo, a reasonable person can reasonably expect that there is at least one supernatural force that begets the four natural forces. So we have good reason to believe at least one supernatural force. But what are they? Or possibly WHO are they (as an immaterial supernatural force is likely to be personal and/or spiritual)?

Second, does any of the potential supernatural forces proactively reveal to us earthlings about their existence? Sure, we do find a bunch in all the religions. Even christian faith teaches about more than one supernatural forces, in fact, numerous forces. The mightiest is the Almighty triune God of the Bible. His adversary is called Satan, once an archangel but fallen from grace and honor. Then there are numerous angels, faithful to God and rebellious against God.

Likewise, other faiths such as Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism also affirm the plurality of supernatural forces.

So I would tend to agree to the notion that there are indeed MANY supernatural forces transcending our space time.

Third, contrary to the questioner's uncritical way of thinking, our greatest pursuit in life is not to follow any or all of these forces, but to find our allegiance to the greatest, mightiest Almighty. So what (or better WHO) is that one?

Fourth, the greatest, common and final threat to humanity is death. So who has conquered death once for all? None other than the Son of the Living God and savior of mankind, Jesus Christ. Neither Buddha nor Mohammed lay claim to this unique title of the only Son of God and the only savior of all mankind, save a few in the mental hospital of course.

So study Jesus Christ first and foremost out of all potential contenders.
