約 翰 福 音 John 12:32 我 若 從 地 上 被 舉 起 來 、 就 要 吸 引 萬 人 來 歸 我 。
But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself."
1. 十 字 架 的 道 理 、為 神 的 大 能
哥 林 多 前 書 1 Corinthians 1:18 因 為 十 字 架 的 道 理 、 在 那 滅 亡 的 人 為 愚 拙 ． 在 我 們 得 救 的 人 卻 為 神 的 大 能 。 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
羅 馬 書 Romans 1:16-17 我 不 以 福 音 為 恥 ． 這 福 音 本 是 神 的 大 能 、 要 救 一 切 相 信 的 、 先 是 猶 太 人 、 後 是 希 利 尼 人 。 因 為 神 的 義 、 正 在 這 福 音 上 顯 明 出 來 ． 這 義 是 本 於 信 、 以 致 於 信 ． 如 經 上 所 記 、 『 義 人 必 因 信 得 生 。 』 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
英文是message,更有commanding的意味,我們是領受者,思考明白這個道理,而不是推出自己道理.
2. 耶 穌 基 督 輕 看 羞 辱 、 忍 受 了 十 字 架 的 苦 難
希 伯 來 書 Hebrews 12:2 仰 望 為 我 們 信 心 創 始 成 終 的 耶 穌 ． 〔 或 作 仰 望 那 將 真 道 創 始 成 終 的 耶 穌 〕 他 因 那 擺 在 前 面 的 喜 樂 、 就 輕 看 羞 辱 、 忍 受 了 十 字 架 的 苦 難 、 便 坐 在 神 寶 座 的 右 邊 。 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
羅 馬 書 Romans 4:25 耶 穌 被 交 給 人 、 是 為 我 們 的 過 犯 、 復 活 、 是 為 叫 我 們 稱 義 。 〔 或 作 耶 穌 是 為 我 們 的 過 犯 交 付 了 是 為 我 們 稱 義 復 活 了 〕 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
苦難是必然有的,可是也有擺在面前的喜樂.神賜下受苦的心志,和喜樂
3. 耶 穌 基 督 存 心 順 服、 且 死 在 十 字 架
腓 立 比 書 Philippians 2:8 既 有 人 的 樣 子 、 就 自 己 卑 微 、 存 心 順 服 、 以 至 於 死 、 且 死 在 十 字 架 上 。 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross!
約 翰 一 書 1 John 2:2 他 為 我 們 的 罪 作 了 挽 回 祭 ． 不 是 單 為 我 們 的 罪 、 也 是 為 普 天 下 人 的 罪 。 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for[a] the sins of the whole world.
神賜下順服的靈
4. 主 釘 十 字 架 之 處 -- 按 著 靈 意 叫 所 多 瑪 、 又 叫 埃 及
啟 示 錄 Revelation 11:8 他 們 的 屍 首 就 倒 在 大 城 里 的 街 上 ． 這 城 按 著 靈 意 叫 所 多 瑪 、 又 叫 埃 及 、 就 是 他 們 的 主 釘 十 字 架 之 處 。 Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
耶 利 米 書 Jeremiah 23:14 我 在 耶 路 撒 冷 的 先 知 中 曾 見 可 憎 惡 的 事 、 他 們 行 姦 淫 、 作 事 虛 妄 ． 又 堅 固 惡 人 的 手 、 甚 至 無 人 回 頭 離 開 他 的 惡 、 他 們 在 我 面 前 都 像 所 多 瑪 、 耶 路 撒 冷 的 居 民 都 像 蛾 摩 拉 。 And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible: They commit adultery and live a lie. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns from his wickedness. They are all like Sodom to me; the people of Jerusalem are like Gomorrah."
希 伯 來 書 Hebrews 13:12 所 以 耶 穌 、 要 用 自 己 的 血 叫 百 姓 成 聖 、 也 就 在 城 門 外 受 苦 。 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.
靈意解經有聖經根據,但是有盡頭,要對整本聖經有全面的理解.

5. 在 十 字 架 上 滅 了 冤 仇
以 弗 所 書 Ephesians 2:14-16 因 他 使 我 們 和 睦 、 〔 原 文 作 因 他 是 我 們 的 和 睦 〕 將 兩 下 合 而 為 一 、 拆 毀 了 中 間 隔 斷 的 牆 ． 而 且 以 自 己 的 身 體 、 廢 掉 冤 仇 、 就 是 那 記 在 律 法 上 的 規 條 ． 為 要 將 兩 下 、 藉 著 自 己 造 成 一 個 新 人 、 如 此 便 成 就 了 和 睦 ． 既 在 十 字 架 上 滅 了 冤 仇 、 便 藉 這 十 字 架 、 使 兩 下 歸 為 一 體 、 與 神 和 好 了 ． For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
歌 羅 西 書 Colossians 1:20 既 然 藉 著 他 在 十 字 架 上 所 流 的 血 、 成 就 了 和 平 、 便 藉 著 他 叫 萬 有 、 無 論 是 地 上 的 、 天 上 的 、 都 與 自 己 和 好 了 。 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
滅 了 冤 仇,不是FIGHT. 背十字架,是滅冤讎,不是增加分歧,而使大家都到主面前來.
6. 信 耶 穌 基 督 得 永 生
約 翰 福 音 John 3:13-16 除 了 從 天 降 下 仍 舊 在 天 的 人 子 、 沒 有 人 升 過 天 。 摩 西 在 曠 野 怎 樣 舉 蛇 、 人 子 也 必 照 樣 被 舉 起 來 ． 叫 一 切 信 他 的 都 得 永 生 。 〔 或 作 叫 一 切 信 的 人 在 他 里 面 得 永 生 〕 神 愛 世 人 、 甚 至 將 他 的 獨 生 子 賜 給 他 們 、 叫 一 切 信 他 的 、 不 至 滅 亡 、 反 得 永 生 。 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
羅 馬 書 Romans 3:23-26 因 為 世 人 都 犯 了 罪 、 虧 缺 了 神 的 榮 耀 。 如 今 卻 蒙 神 的 恩 典 、 因 基 督 耶 穌 的 救 贖 、 就 白 白 的 稱 義 。 神 設 立 耶 穌 作 挽 回 祭 、 是 憑 著 耶 穌 的 血 、 藉 著 人 的 信 、 要 顯 明 神 的 義 ． 因 為 他 用 忍 耐 的 心 、 寬 容 人 先 時 所 犯 的 罪 ． 好 在 今 時 顯 明 他 的 義 、 使 人 知 道 他 自 己 為 義 、 也 稱 信 耶 穌 的 人 為 義 。 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement,[a] through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
背十字架,心中會充滿愛.
我們不僅是罪得赦免,還有靠主稱義.
7. 專 以 地 上 的 事 為 念、 是 基 督 十 字 架 的 仇 敵
腓 立 比 書 Philippians 3:18-19 因 為 有 許 多 人 行 事 、 是 基 督 十 字 架 的 仇 敵 ． 我 屢 次 告 訴 你 們 、 現 在 又 流 淚 的 告 訴 你 們 。 他 們 的 結 局 就 是 沉 淪 、 他 們 的 神 就 是 自 己 的 肚 腹 、 他 們 以 自 己 的 羞 辱 為 榮 耀 、 專 以 地 上 的 事 為 念 。 For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.
腓 立 比 書 Philippians 3:8-11 不 但 如 此 、 我 也 將 萬 事 當 作 有 損 的 、 因 我 以 認 識 我 主 基 督 耶 穌 為 至 寶 。 我 為 他 已 經 丟 棄 萬 事 、 看 作 糞 土 、 為 要 得 著 基 督 ． 並 且 得 以 在 他 里 面 、 不 是 有 自 己 因 律 法 而 得 的 義 、 乃 是 有 信 基 督 的 義 、 就 是 因 信 神 而 來 的 義 ． 使 我 認 識 基 督 、 曉 得 他 復 活 的 大 能 、 並 且 曉 得 和 他 一 同 受 苦 、 效 法 他 的 死 ． 或 者 我 也 得 以 從 死 里 復 活 。 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
如果傳福音只注重幫助人解決地上的問題,恐怕是南轅北轍,因為人以為去教會就是被好人幫助,而看不見主召人來的目的.
8. 我 已 經 與 基 督 同 釘 在 十 字 架 上
羅 馬 書 Romans 6:6 因 為 知 道 我 們 的 舊 人 、 和 他 同 釘 十 字 架 、 使 罪 身 滅 絕 、 叫 我 們 不 再 作 罪 的 奴 仆 ． For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin
加 拉 太 書 Galatians 6:14 但 我 斷 不 以 別 的 夸 口 、 只 夸 我 們 主 耶 穌 基 督 的 十 字 架 ． 因 這 十 字 架 、 就 我 而 論 、 世 界 已 經 釘 在 十 字 架 上 ． 就 世 界 而 論 、 我 已 經 釘 在 十 字 架 上 。 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
加 拉 太 書 Galatians 2:20 我 已 經 與 基 督 同 釘 十 字 架 ． 現 在 活 著 的 、 不 再 是 我 、 乃 是 基 督 在 我 里 面 活 著 ． 並 且 我 如 今 在 肉 身 活 著 、 是 因 信 神 的 兒 子 而 活 、 他 是 愛 我 、 為 我 捨 己 。 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
要有主觀得勝的經歷,幫助人學會自己起來依靠主.
9. 基 督 差 遣 我、 乃 是 為 傳 福 音、 免 得 基 督 的 十 字 架 落 了 空
哥 林 多 前 書 1 Corinthians 1:17 基 督 差 遣 我 、 原 不 是 為 施 洗 、 乃 是 為 傳 福 音 ． 並 不 用 智 慧 的 言 語 、 免 得 基 督 的 十 字 架 落 了 空 。 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
哥 林 多 前 書 1 Corinthians 2:2-5 因 為 我 曾 定 了 主 意 、 在 你 們 中 間 不 知 道 別 的 、 只 知 道 耶 穌 基 督 、 並 他 釘 十 字 架 。 我 在 你 們 那 里 、 又 軟 弱 、 又 懼 怕 、 又 甚 戰 兢 。 我 說 的 話 講 的 道 、 不 是 用 智 慧 委 婉 的 言 語 、 乃 是 用 聖 靈 和 大 能 的 明 證 ． 叫 你 們 的 信 不 在 乎 人 的 智 慧 、 只 在 乎 神 的 大 能 。For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.
傳的是釘十字架的耶 穌 基 督.
10. 傳 釘 十 字 架 的 基 督
哥 林 多 前 書 1 Corinthians 1:23 我 們 卻 是 傳 釘 十 字 架 的 基 督 、 在 猶 太 人 為 絆 腳 石 、 在 外 邦 人 為 愚 拙but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles
哥 林 多 前 書 1 Corinthians 1:30 但 你 們 得 在 基 督 耶 穌 里 、 是 本 乎 神 、 神 又 使 他 成 為 我 們 的 智 慧 、 公 義 、 聖 潔 、 救 贖 ． 30It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.
使 徒 行 傳 Acts 2:22-24 以 色 列 人 哪 、 請 聽 我 的 話 ． 神 藉 著 拿 撒 勒 人 耶 穌 、 在 你 們 中 間 施 行 異 能 奇 事 神 蹟 、 將 他 證 明 出 來 、 這 是 你 們 自 己 知 道 的 。 他 既 按 著 神 的 定 旨 先 見 、 被 交 與 人 、 你 們 就 藉 著 無 法 之 人 的 手 、 把 他 釘 在 十 字 架 上 殺 了 。 神 卻 將 死 的 痛 苦 解 釋 了 、 叫 他 復 活 ． 因 為 他 原 不 能 被 死 拘 禁 。 "Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.
復活了的 基 督.
11. 不 知 道 別 的 、 只 知 道 耶 穌 基 督 、 並 他 釘 十 字 架
哥 林 多 前 書 1 Corinthians 2:2 因 為 我 曾 定 了 主 意 、 在 你 們 中 間 不 知 道 別 的 、 只 知 道 耶 穌 基 督 、 並 他 釘 十 字 架 。 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
腓 立 比 書 Philippians 1:20-21 照 著 我 所 切 慕 所 盼 望 的 、 沒 有 一 事 叫 我 羞 愧 、 只 要 凡 事 放 膽 ． 無 論 是 生 、 是 死 、 總 叫 基 督 在 我 身 上 照 常 顯 大 。 因 我 活 著 就 是 基 督 、 我 死 了 就 有 益 處 。 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
哥 林 多 後 書 2 Corinthians 4:10 身 上 常 帶 著 耶 穌 的 死 、 使 耶 穌 的 生 、 也 顯 明 在 我 們 身 上 。 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
哥 林 多 後 書 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 所 以 我 們 不 喪 膽 ． 外 體 雖 然 毀 壞 、 內 心 卻 一 天 新 似 一 天 。 我 們 這 至 暫 至 輕 的 苦 楚 、 要 為 我 們 成 就 極 重 無 比 永 遠 的 榮 耀 。 原 來 我 們 不 是 顧 念 所 見 的 、 乃 是 顧 念 所 不 見 的 ． 因 為 所 見 的 是 暫 時 的 、 所 不 見 的 是 永 遠 的 。 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
12. 只 夸 主 耶 穌 基 督 的 十 字 架
加 拉 太 書 Galatians 6:14 但 我 斷 不 以 別 的 夸 口 、 只 夸 我 們 主 耶 穌 基 督 的 十 字 架 ． 因 這 十 字 架 、 就 我 而 論 、 世 界 已 經 釘 在 十 字 架 上 ． 就 世 界 而 論 、 我 已 經 釘 在 十 字 架 上 。 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
歌 羅 西 書 Colossians 2:15 既 將 一 切 執 政 的 掌 權 的 擄 來 、 明 顯 給 眾 人 看 、 就 仗 著 十 字 架 夸 勝 。 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
13. 為 基 督 的 十 字 架 受 逼 迫
加 拉 太 書 Galatians 6:12 凡 希 圖 外 貌 體 面 的 人 、 都 勉 強 你 們 受 割 禮 ． 無 非 是 怕 自 己 為 基 督 的 十 字 架 受 逼 迫 。 Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
希 伯 來 書 Hebrews 10:35 -36 所 以 你 們 不 可 丟 棄 勇 敢 的 心 ． 存 這 樣 的 心 必 得 大 賞 賜 。 你 們 必 須 忍 耐 、 使 你 們 行 完 了 神 的 旨 意 、 就 可 以 得 著 所 應 許 的 。 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
羅 馬 書 Romans 8:33-35 誰 能 控 告 神 所 揀 選 的 人 呢 ． 有 神 稱 他 們 為 義 了 。 〔 或 作 是 稱 他 們 為 義 的 神 麼 〕 誰 能 定 他 們 的 罪 呢 ． 有 基 督 耶 穌 已 經 死 了 、 而 且 從 死 里 復 活 、 現 今 在 神 的 右 邊 、 也 替 我 們 祈 求 。 〔 有 基 督 雲 雲 或 作 是 已 經 死 了 而 且 從 死 里 復 活 現 今 在 神 的 右 邊 也 替 我 們 祈 求 的 基 督 耶 穌 麼 〕 誰 能 使 我 們 與 基 督 的 愛 隔 絕 呢 ． 難 道 是 患 難 麼 、 是 困 苦 麼 、 是 逼 迫 麼 、 是 飢 餓 麼 、 是 赤 身 露 體 麼 、 是 危 險 麼 、 是 刀 劍 麼 。 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
歌 羅 西 書 Colossians 1:24 現 在 我 為 你 們 受 苦 、 倒 覺 歡 樂 、 並 且 為 基 督 的 身 體 、 就 是 為 教 會 、 要 在 我 肉 身 上 補 滿 基 督 患 難 的 缺 欠 。 24Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.
羅 馬 書 Romans 8:17 既 是 兒 女 、 便 是 後 嗣 、 就 是 神 的 後 嗣 、 和 基 督 同 作 後 嗣 ． 如 果 我 們 和 他 一 同 受 苦 、 也 必 和 他 一 同 得 榮 耀 。 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
彼 得 前 書 1 Peter 4:1 基 督 既 在 肉 身 受 苦 、 你 們 也 當 將 這 樣 的 心 志 作 為 兵 器 ． 因 為 在 肉 身 受 過 苦 的 、 就 已 經 與 罪 斷 絕 了 ． Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin.
彼 得 前 書 1 Peter 4:13-14 倒 要 歡 喜 ． 因 為 你 們 是 與 基 督 一 同 受 苦 、 使 你 們 在 他 榮 耀 顯 現 的 時 候 、 也 可 以 歡 喜 快 樂 。 你 們 若 為 基 督 的 名 受 辱 罵 、 便 是 有 福 的 ． 因 為 神 榮 耀 的 靈 、 常 住 在 你 們 身 上 。 But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. 14If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
加 拉 太 書 Galatians 4:19 我 小 子 阿 、 我 為 你 們 再 受 生 產 之 苦 、 直 等 到 基 督 成 形 在 你 們 心 里 ． My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you,
腓 立 比 書 Philippians 1:29 因 為 你 們 蒙 恩 、 不 但 得 以 信 服 基 督 、 並 要 為 他 受 苦 。 For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him
14. 完 成 大 使 命
馬 太 福 音 Matthew 28:19-20 所 以 你 們 要 去 、 使 萬 民 作 我 的 門 徒 、 奉 父 子 聖 靈 的 名 、 給 他 們 施 洗 ． 〔 或 作 給 他 們 施 洗 歸 於 父 子 聖 靈 的 名 〕 凡 我 所 吩 咐 你 們 的 、 都 教 訓 他 們 遵 守 我 就 常 與 你 們 同 在 、 直 到 世 界 的 末 了 。 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
約 翰 福 音 John 12:23-24 耶 穌 說 、 人 子 得 榮 耀 的 時 候 到 了 。 我 實 實 在 在 的 告 訴 你 們 、 一 粒 麥 子 不 落 在 地 里 死 了 、 仍 舊 是 一 粒 ． 若 是 死 了 、 就 結 出 許 多 子 粒 來 。Jesus replied, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.

He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

腓 立 比 書 Philippians 3:20-21 我 們 卻 是 天 上 的 國 民 ． 並 且 等 候 救 主 、 就 是 主 耶 穌 基 督 、 從 天 上 降 臨 。 他 要 按 著 那 能 叫 萬 有 歸 服 自 己 的 大 能 、 將 我 們 這 卑 賤 的 身 體 改 變 形 狀 、 和 他 自 己 榮 耀 的 身 體 相 似 。 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
