It is also very hard for any one fired for 表現不好 to find another job. You need to get the last company as your reference and 表現不好 reason is not going to get you that.

I think the company cornered him. I don't agree with what he did but I also think the company went too far in order to save some money. It's one thing to save some money, it is another thing to destroy another man's life and family in order to save few dollars.

If it is really 表現不好 to fire him, why waited for him to work for the company for many years? He worked for that company for at least 3 to 5 years. Under normal cases, he should get one month of pay and plus one week for each year he worked for the company. Then he would be allowed to collect for UI for about 10 month at 60% of his normal pay. He should be OK for about a year to find another job and use the last company as a reference. By firing him for 表現不好, the company took away all that from him and left him nothing to live on for the next day and almost no chance to find another job. That't really hard on him just in order to save few dollars for the company.

What he did was wrong. What the company did was also wrong. Two wrongs do nto make it right to kill someone.
