The Supreme Court on Thursday struck down a New York law that regulated
who is allowed to carry a concealed weapon in public, expanding gun
rights nationwide at a time when the country is reeling from a series of
recent mass shooting.

ATLANTA, July 29 – A disturbed day trader wielding
two handguns killed nine people and wounded 12 in an upscale office
complex in Atlanta this afternoon, eluding police for several hours
before committing suicide. The man is also suspected of the murder of
his wife and two children, whose bodies were found today in a
neighboring county.
