泰戈尔诗的宁静之美！

早年偶然的机会，痴迷过泰戈尔的《飞鸟集》、《吉檀迦利》等诗集。在下不才，匆匆之中摘录《吉檀迦利》里的两段（冰心所译？）：

2 我旅行的时间很长,旅途也是很长的.

天刚破晓,我就驱车起行,穿遍广漠的世界.在许多星球之上,留下辙痕.

离你最近的地方,路途最远,最简单的音调,需要最艰苦的练习.

旅客要在每个生人门口敲叩,才能敲到自己的家门,人要在外面到处漂流,最后才能走到最深的内殿.

我的眼睛向空阔处四望,最后才合上眼说:”你原来住在这里!”

这句问话和呼唤”呵,在哪儿呢?”融化在千般的泪泉里,和你保证的回答”我在这里!”的洪流,一同泛滥了全世界.

7 若是你不说话,我就含忍着,以你的沉默来填满我的心.我要沉静地等候,像黑夜在星光中无眠,忍耐地低首.

The time that my journey takes is long and the way of it long.

I came out on the chariot of the first gleam of light, and pursued my

voyage through the wildernesses of worlds leaving my track on many a star and planet.

The traveler has to knock at every alien door to come to his own,

多伦多酒坊历史区！

多伦多在并非惊艳的外表下，有着一种沉静大方、古朴醇厚的内在美。其经典代表就是著名的“酒坊历史区”。她深藏于古老甚至有点荒凉破旧的湖滨大道和议会路交口附近的磨房路５５号，却被热评为多伦多最佳旅游点，多伦多唯一的历史区和步行街区。说多伦多玩三天就够了，恐怕是谦虚的说法呢。呵呵。

红砖和鹅卵石砌成的高大楼房，曾经是不列颠帝国在世界上最大的酒坊，现在成了北美最精致的维多利亚风格工业建筑。餐馆、博物馆、剧院，商店和精品店，全都集中于足球场大小的一块地方。十九世纪的历史氛围，欧洲样式的阳台和广场，毫无现代旅游商业气息和连锁店之类的垃圾。

我周末慕名拜访了酒坊历史区的饰物艺术店，那里的店主都是集艺术家、设计师和专业工匠于一身。上午先到普通ＭＡＬＬ里的几家首饰店参观学习，火速掌握一些基本知识，下午来到酒坊历史区的一家首饰设计室，略带腼腆的设计师兼金匠李夫给我看了他的精美作品影集。他根据我的需要推荐的白金订婚戒指，１４或１８Ｋ的．３５到．４０的单钻石，清晰度为ＳＩ１，成色为Ｇ，外加完美切割。最棒的是他可以在戒指上（内圈）帮你刻自己所要的字。而且可以随时回去调整戒指大小。

到周四，我会再去那里看实际样品，并最后定下所要样式。这种一辈子一回的事，价钱是次要的考虑。况且这周接点外活，正好就是为了这个目的。我想这么做，跟她现在是否愿意接受这个礼品无关。我想要的，是那种看在眼里、摸在手里的真实的感觉，就像古人随身佩戴一块玉，是同一个意思罢……

你也可以叫它求婚戒指（proposal ring），如果这也算我的“发明”的话。呵呵。

它是我的信物，好配她宁静的王国。
