Bear in mind that things often look better than they eally are. I am very relunctant to think their school system is the reason for their power in economy and science. Their schooling problems are compensated by their society which as a whole does run with lots of merits.

You guys, do not get lost in the trees before seeing the woods.

I am not saying, though, the chinese school system is goood enough to be a model.
