One of my friends who is working on his PhD in computer science from China told me that his high school close friend is a neurosurgeon in China. But if he gets any medical condition, he would like to see the lousiest medical doctor in the US than to visit his high school close friend.
This could explain why many times I see that those people with a MD degree from China have mediocre or below average performances in their academics and workings in the US. When a highly competitive milieu is encountered, you might always predict thate they cheat and lie in their exams to get a good grade for survival.
