one can claim almost anything on the internet. they are all cheap talks unless the person can demonstrate in his/her posts something convincing, e.g., posting nice pictures to show that one is a good photographer, or posting a sonnet to show off one's english skills. it is of course challenging to show evidence that one has obtained formal western training in philosophy, but the burden of proof is on the person who is making the claim.

by the way, throughout these two years that i have been wasting my time on creader.net, i have never claimed that i got a degree on something somewhere. to me, such info is simply irrelevant to back up the points i post on the internet.
