'into' is/sounds better.
'dotted' is fine. if 'dotted' is chosen, then possibly it should be a phrase like 'dotted with homes' or 'homes dotted', not 'a home or two' are dotted. I chose 'seen' because i thought the author saw a couple of homes from far. |
