Dear David:
On April 10, I participate the annual meeting of APS。All the big shorts including the executive officer are there。 They talked about the achievement of APS, and what a good shape APS is in。
At the end, I had an opportunity to talk。 I pointed out that indeed ApS have achieved much。 However, success usually could accompany with over confidence as Einstein did。 Therefore, APS was not aware of what is important going on out side APS。 For instance, there are three important experiments that showed Einstein‘s speculation E = mc2 is invalid。 1) the charged metal ball 2) the heated up of a piece of metal 3)The charged capacitor。 All have reduced weight instead of increased weight as Einstein predicted。 Moreover, Einstein has at least eight errors in relativity that all the editors of APS was not aware of。
So, I suggested that APS should improve the understaning of gravitation。 The officers thank me for this information。 I will wait and see what would happen。
Sincerely yours,
C。 Y。 Lo
